Custom Details

A custom invitation is about all your little details as a couple.  We would like to design a breathtaking piece that reflects you as a couple and matches your wedding theme.  LITTLE wedding details can seem overwhelming, our goal is to take this LITTLE (but very important) detail off your checklist.

The Process of Custom Invitations

LET'S WORK TOGETHER

You said YES!! Congratulations!   Fill out the custom inquiry questionnaire.  We can't wait to hear all about your little details. Once We get the details of your special day and some fun facts of you and your fiancé.  We will get an idea of what your need for wedding invitations. We will set up a video chat, phone call or email whatever works for you.  Please keep in mind that Wedding invitations are mailed out at least 8 weeks prior to your wedding day.  We encourage 9 weeks with mail being very delayed lately.  We typically have an 8-week design time for custom invitations from start to finish.  These are details to keep in mind, but please reach out to see if there is room on our design calendar.

LET'S CHAT
We will set up a time to chat about all the details of your special day.  Whatever you are most comfortable with, a consultation, a video chat, or email.  We can then talk about your design aesthetic, specific colors, print specialties  such as foiling, letterpress, paper preference.  We can talk about all your wedding stationery needs at this time.

PROPOSAL and CONTRACT

After our brief conversation you will receive a proposal with all the pretty things we discussed.  You will have the option to add any small details at this time.  Maybe a wax seal or a pretty ribbon.  After the proposal is approved you will then receive a contract to review along with an estimated production and billing schedule.  This schedule seems to help most brides gather and finalize their guest lists. I require a 50% deposit to hold your spot on my design schedule.  Each phase of the stationery process is billed separately.

LET'S BOOK IT

The proposal is now approved! You will receive a questionnaire that will gather all information we need for your wedding stationery, dates, times, venues are a few examples.  Once your questionnaire, contract and deposit are received you are booked.  Your proofing process will begin on the date provided on your schedule.  After you are officially on my design schedule you will receive your timeline typically 7 days after booking.

PROOFING

Proofing! It's almost on paper.  You will see everything you have dreamt up come to life.  You will receive a digital proof of your invitation.  It will all seem real when you see you and your fiancé's name on that invitation.  We will go through a revision process. There is more information on this at booking. Our goal is to get you exactly what you were dreaming of for your wedding day stationery.

FINAL APROVAL and PRODUCTION

Once your pieces are complete. We will do a final approval, often times I will ask you to make sure you have your fiancé look these over for a second pair of eyes.  You will receive a final proof document to review and sign and then they are off to print.  An updated schedule and estimated completion date will be provided when they are in the printing process.

LETS DELIVER all the DETAILS

They are Here! Your invitations are now ready to mail out to your guests. You will arrange your method of receipt at the time of approval. Weather you decided to mail them yourself or you would prefer ELD to mail them. If you are local and want to pick up or have them delivered for a small fee. These arrangements will have been discussed during the approval process.

LETS HAVE A TOAST

All your invitations are mailed, and your guests are receiving all the SPECIAL DETAILS about your special day! CHEERS TO THAT! Crossing wedding invitations off of your wedding checklist is a huge task. CONGRATULATIONS.  LET'S WORK ON THOSE DAY OF DETAILS!
